The APEL Charitable Trust

The Trust is a registered charity.

It was set up to ensure that private treatment is more available to all people who can benefit, regardless of their capacity to pay a full fee, whilst sufficient funds are available.

It provides grants to help pay for the normal cost of private psychotherapy.

The trust is small, so the number of grants is very limited each year. Grants cover once a week therapy for a year.

The Charitable Trust is dependent on donations from the general public. For further details contact the Chair of the Charitable Trust Bruce Eadie at the following address: BruceEadie@apel.org.uk

Criteria for a successful grant application

  • A family income of less than £25,000 per year.
  • The applicant must be able to benefit from psychotherapy.
